Fabulous Finds from Prairie Thistle

Sweet Little Girl With Bluebirds Framed Print - Purchase Here

I am back again to share vintage finds that I have been gathering over the past few months at some of my favorite antique shops.  Here is the first installment...  I hope you enjoy them.

Tarnished Mini Grater and Peeler - Purchase Here

When I picked up this mini grater and peeler I thought it would be great hanging from a peg in the kitchen.  I also thought it would be a great assemblage art element, possibly the body or head of an assemblage doll sculpture.

Amazing Vintage Garters - Purchase Here

Great vintage garters would be so much fun mixed into your next mixed media piece.  I haven't seen any of these in years...

Vintage Blue Tin From England - Purchase Here

Beautiful vintage confections tin in vivid metallic blue with Roman inspired decorations from England.  These old tins are great in a tabletop display and double as functional storage.  Imagine giving this year's Holiday treats in this gorgeous tin.  What a great hostess gift.

Vintage Resin Botantical Trivet - Purchase Here

This is a lovely vintage footed trivet with beautiful green ferns, a daisy and sweet butterfly.

Vintage Scoop Set From Japan - Purchase Here

Four piece vintage scoop set from Japan would be great put into service for tea, sugar, or bath salts in the bath.

Vintage Tart Set - Purchase Here

Tiny tarts would be a cinch using these vintage tins.  Set of five tart pans measuring only four inches in diameter.

Vintage Children's Book - Purchase Here

Children of the Pines vintage book would be perfect for the Summer cabin tucked in the forest.

Vintage Ladies Watch - Purchase Here

I have so much more to share with you in the upcoming weeks - literally boxes and boxes of goodies that I have found in my travels over the past few months.  Now it is time to destash to make room for new additions.

I hope you are all enjoying the warm days of Summer.

Blessings - Julie

Hi, Julie...

Those vintage garters that came off of a girdle or garter belt make me feel OLD! ;-) I remember them well. I also remember when panty hose came out. Yes, I do. ;-)

That was fun getting to see all of your finds...

XO,

Sheila :-)

All beautiful, wonderful treasures. The first picture looks like Sally and Spot out of the Dick and Jane readers.

Hi Julie, I'm loving your stuff! I'm so trying to downsize while lusting after old stuff like this! I adore those old fashioned childhood prints!
Catching up on your last few posts. Your sale at the farm sounds so fun-I love the idea of a theme. Your booth was so well thought out and put together. And I love your jewelry. I may try my hand at PMC again. I took a class. I have a kiln available. Any pointers?
Enjoy!
