A French Fairy Tale for Mother's Day

A lovely book with the most incredible illustrations for you to enjoy as a Mother's Day treat - enjoy.

Rosalie saw before her eyes a tree of marvellous beauty

She threw her arms around the neck of Bonne-Biche

They were three months passing through the forest

A part of the wall crumbled with a terrible noise

"What are you seeking little one?"

They walked side by side during the rest of the evening

"Ah, ha! you are at last in my domain, little fool!"

Violette takes refuge from the wild boar

Violette consented willingly to pass the night in the forest

I hope you enjoyed the illustrations from this lovely French fairy tale book.

Blessings to you on Mother's Day.

Julie, what beautiful illustrations. I just love that style. So intricate and detailed. Sweet. I also love the dolls in your last post. Some of them are old friends! Their faces are familiar to me after 50 years. I love these windows to the past.
Have a great day!
