Let's Create

I am feeling the urge to create, it tugs at the back of my mind, calling to me to use these hands to bring "it" to life.  As I move about my day, answering emails, returning phone calls, filling orders, as I move through the grocery store aisles, as I drive my car home...my inner voice calls to me.  "Let's create."

But, I cannot yet carve out time to spend in the studio...  there's laundry to be done, a show to prepare for, obligations to meet.  My inner voice is like a sad child dropping her shoulders and going back to her room to wait for the opportunity to come out and play once again.

Maybe next week, if I work very hard this week I will have time to play...

Blessings - Julie

I know exactly how you feel. It seems that others are so prolific and I wonder why I cannot play as well or as fast. But sometimes life has other plans and we do what we can, with what we have, where we are.
I am hoping you will be out to play soon! Enjoy the day! Erin

Hi Julie. You are talented in so many ways. You write beautifully, you're a fantastic photographer, and your creations...well what can I say you are an artist through and through. Thanks for sharing it all with us.

Hugs...Tracy

Oh Julie unless you are running around naked the laundry will be there tomorrow, orders can be packaged at night, and preps for the show can wait at least a few hours. Go create when your soul tells you. Next week you not create what you feel today.
Happy day to you.

Oh Julie! I can SO relate!!! I was bemoaning this very thing recently. Seems like the everyday things of life need my attention before I break out some time for me in my art room.

I am going to change that next week. I cannot spend so much time away from my artwork because I NEED to create! Just got to get going.

That's a lovely image Julie. I hope that you can find some time to work with it really soon.

In answer to your question about Silver shred lemon marmalade - it is indeed like orange marmalade but made with lemons. Can we send marmalade into the states - if so I'd gladly send you a pot.

I agree with Nicole, don't ignore your muse, create now! Chores will always be there, but the creative urge may not.

I am thrilled that you love your earrings and necklace ~enjoy in good health!

Hi there!
Oh how the time just gets away from us all. I'm glad you are doing well!!! Even if it means you are extremely busy. Hang in there love, at least your creativity is calling you! I can't say the same for myself --it's been months! I loved all the finds from your post. Such wonderful treats.
