Love Fearlessly Silver Bracelet

I have been busily working away in the studio getting ready for an upcoming show in my hometown.  It's called Cupid's Gems, a small jewelry show comprised mainly of local jewelry artists (about 30 artists).  It's held in the historic Thompson Barn which is a lovely venue for the event.  It's a pleasure to do the show, it's in beautiful surroundings and the ladies that hostess the event are wonderful.

This vintage postcard reminds me of the event, as it reminds me of Valentine's Day which is quickly approaching.  I have been having fun in the studio experimenting with resins, leather,  lovely gemstones and pearls.

Love Fearlessly Bracelet - Purchase Here

Here is a custom leather bracelet for Laura with a sterling silver plate with "LOVE FEARLESSLY" stamped onto the front and stitched in place with fuschia string on black leather.  Don't you love it?  I really enjoy doing custom jewelry work.

I have been so busy putting the jewelry together - you know how it goes when you are getting ready for an upcoming show.  It doesn't stop with bringing your designs to life, you then must price, tag, inventory and package.

Then there is the design for staging the show table.  I am going with a earthy, farmgirl meets cowgirl type of theme this year.  All natural gemstones, leather, silver, and pearls.

Wish me luck, I am hoping for a good show as I am helping out my little brother's family financially until he can get back to work in a few months due to his heart attack.  Here is a photo of Caleb and Tasha reading a book together at our house last weekend.  Jason's children are sort of like grandchildren for me in a sense...anyway, I love them as much as if they were...

Aren't they sweet, Caleb is in kindergarten and reads really well and his little sister, Tasha loves it when her big brother reads to her - it reminded me of when I used to read to their dad, when he was a little boy.  He loved it to sit beside me in a chair and listen to his favorite books.  Now I am reading to his children and watching Caleb read to Tasha.  Where does time go?

I'll leave you with this quiet photo taken at the farm...

What I am actually saying is that we each need to let our intuition guide us, and then be willing to follow that guidance directly and fearlessly.

Sounds like a neat show!

My hubby is supposed to have bought something for me from you for Valentine's. Even though I told him what I wanted, I am going to be "surprised" when it gets here! LOL!

XO,

Sheila :-)

I love your bracelet! I hope you enjoy your show--I know from craft-fairs that they can be hard work and fun too. Your "grandchildren" are adorable, and reading in kindergarten! Have a great weekend.

Julie, you are such a wonderful old soul. The bracelet is as beautiful as you are. I'm sure your brother appreciates your generosity greatly. His kids are just precious. Take great care, and best of luck at the show! Riki xox
