It is a beautiful Summer day in Kansas with temperatures in the low 80s and a gentle breeze in the air. I walk almost every day and it's especially enjoyable when the weather is mild. Today on my favorite nature trail I was blessed with butterflies, birds singing overheard, a great trickling sound of the creek from the rains of the night before, chipmunks and even a small groundhog. Everyone I met had a smile and friendly wave of greeting as we passed one another scampering along the trail, some with dogs or giggling children in tow.
What a blessed day.......in Kansas.
